I wanna leave here, go somewhere free and clear. Somewhere that has no hate; murder and crime, where all my poems smoothly rhyme. I’d like to find a place where love is not constricted or used to cause pain, No higher echelon and money is not used for gain.
Somewhere there’s a better world to live in, where it doesn’t matter about the color of your skin. No lying; no dying, no baby’s crying. Somewhere that the animals live in harmony with human; and to say I love you, really means something.
Take me somewhere that has no divorce and every living purpose finished its course. Where we all could laugh and have fun, somewhere there’s continual peace under the sun. I’m thinking of a place where the music touches the soul; where it’s always warm and never cold, somewhere we never grow old.
Somewhere that has no time, that somewhere is only in my mind.
